Manufacturers are only trying for $/watt bragging rights, and not thinking about the downstream problems with these big panels. Here is why Cinnamon Energy Systems is strongly opposed to these large format panels:
1. Pallets are over 48″ wide and do not fit in contractor pickup trucks. DUH!
2. Installers cannot safely carry these large panels up a ladder.
3. Fewer kw can be installed simply because the panels are larger.
4. Wire management is extremely difficult, resulting in drooping wires.
5. Workers Comp rates will go up due to more potential for injuries.
